If everyone could read everyone else’s mind and truly understand their emotions and thoughts, would that be a good thing?
Definitely not. There a lot of stuff that goes through a person's mind that shouldn't be part if public domain. Besides, privacy would basically disappear.

I don't believe so. I think sometimes for our own mental state you don't always want to know what people think, especially about you. Parsing through conversations and honestly talking about thoughts and emotions is the best way to go. A persons mind is their own, and should always be that way.

If everyone could read everyone else’s mind and truly understand their emotions and thoughts, would that be a good thing?
No, because then we would have scapegoated practicing true communication, and not every thought needs to be seen as one’s truth. Also, people don’t meditate enough to have thoughts that I would characterize as frequently meaningful.

If everyone could read everyone else’s mind and truly understand their emotions and thoughts, would that be a good thing?
No. That would be a working definition of hell. Reading other people's minds would be evil, unethical, and immoral. It would violate their privacy and lead directly to worldwide insanity because the whole basis of the Bill of Rights is privacy. No rights are possible without privacy. No life, liberty nor pursuit of happiness. Just robots like those people in totalitarian countries [or consumers in America who are willing to give up their privacy]. Look at East Germany under the Stasi -- the highest rates of suicide ever recorded. The S.O.B.'s who create totalitarian regimes want to read your mind. Everything bad is the result.

If everyone could read everyone else’s mind and truly understand their emotions and thoughts, would that be a good thing?
I think that's a two-part question. The first, reading everyone's mind, would not be a good thing. Some things should be left in privacy. If we could all truly understand each other's thoughts and emotions, the world would progress at a much faster rate.

If everyone could read everyone else’s mind and truly understand their emotions and thoughts, would that be a good thing?
Yes. Too much of peoples’ minds and lives are preoccupied with worries and anticipations of what goes on in the minds of others. Not to mention deception is typically done to others’ detriment. In a world where we could all just hear and understand each other, I think it would lead to a society of greater empathy and less bullshit or noise.
Looking For: I’m looking for a technical cofounder or technical founding member.
