What's a decision you've made that has dramatically improved your life?
Moving to Colorado. I grew up in North Carolina and I drove out here with grand plans of working on a ski mountain. I came, I skiied, and I knew no one. I also couldn't get a job in a day or two. I drove down to las vegas because I used to "enjoy" poker. I thought it was something that could be figured out. I did alright but then I realized that it didn't progress. It was just patiently waiting for luck or hoping to avoid bad luck. I soon lost a significant amount of the money. I had hardly anything and I was using credit cards too often. I was driving home and somewhere around Utah I realized that I could go to Aspen. It seems so mundane or even boon-dock worthy now, but at the time it was such an intense realization. I could go anywhere and do whatever I wanted. I didn't have any money so I couldn't really do anything but the point was - I controlled my life and I didn't want to let the path or the routine dictate my future. So I went and stayed in the most expensive hostel I've ever experienced - downtown Aspen. I then rode on Snowmass the following day and it was phenomenal. A single run changed my life. I found some friendly people, moved to Basalt, and slowly became an adult over the following two years.

What's a decision you've made that has dramatically improved your life?
I've never learned how to drive a car, and I really don't care to. it's saved me a lot of money and time, and I just ride lyft wherever I need to go. it's a little inconvenient, but I'd much rather leave driving to those who enjoy it or just care to do it for a living.
