What role does loyalty play in life?

Lost loyalty is like losing a leg. You might still be able to hobble around but you'll never be complete again. With that said, I think people imply or promise loyalty far too often. You can't be loyal to everyone because people make poor choices or expect too much. Be restrictive with those you impart your loyalty and never stop once it's given.
